Earlier this summer I spent one week in Sweeden in a tent. A fabulous week, actually, but I spent almost a week at home preparing for the big event.
One morning I woke up with a bright idea. Somewhere in the shed in the backyard I knew I had an old campingtable and I reasoned it must be very rusty and ready for an extreme makeover. Overwhelmed by a rare urge to redecorate this table I got out of bed and begun searching for it, bought varnish and some decoupage remedies.
After I had sprayed on the purpurcolored varnish I cut out the flowers with my Quickutz tool I glued them on with decoupageglue and finally sprayed the whole thing with blank varnish it was finished. A very easy and uncomplicated redecoration, but quite time-demanding. I think I have 6 layers of varnish alltogether.
Unfortunately I forgot to take any before pictures, but here are some photos of the result:
Nice, isn't it?
